Cotton fibers and Modal rayon fibers is mixed in order to combine the advantages from each fiber which we cannot obtain from pure cotton and rayon.
Advantages
1. Impart wearing comfort the absorption is better than pure cotton fabric.
2. Higher wet strength than 100 % rayon fabric.
3. Lower shrinkage than 100 % rayon fabric.
4. Easier to dye if compare with 100 % rayon
5. Higher luster than pure cotton and give better colour fastness to washing.
6. Softer handed-feel than 100 % cotton.
7. Better drape property than 100 % cotton.
8. Give better easy – care than 100 % rayon and 100 % cotton.
